MURTALHA IBRAHIM is the founder and Managing Director of Misa Limited. He started his corporate career with Inaolaji Group of Companies where he rose through the ranks, quickly learning the ropes of “empire building”. From incorporation in December 1996 to date, he has grown the balance sheet of Misa from a start-up position of nil to an excess of N6billion. Murtalha’s key strengths are the ability to organize human capital and deploy assets in an efficient and effective manner, identifying opportunities and engaging resources to actualize them.
BUNMI IBRAHEEM is an Executive Director of Misa Limited. She is an experienced professional with a successful career in law, business development and administration. Bunmi heads the legal, regulatory and administrative unit of the company. She is a seasoned professional with over 25 (twenty five) years’ experience in active legal practice in Nigeria. She is an exceptional legal practitioner and Notary Public whose main areas of practice are Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Oil & Gas, Legal/Business Advisory Support and Real Estate.
Chief Financial Officer
AFOLABI OLUBAKINDE graduated from Ondo State Polytechnic (now Rufus Giwa Polytechnic) with a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy in 1998 and the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State with a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management in 2000. He became a qualified Accountant in 2005 and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho. He’s a Fellow in Credit Administration. Afolabi manages the accounts department and all financial information.
Chief Operating Officer
Omosalewa Fajobi is a lawyer by training, with a degree in law from the University of Lagos and a Masters in Corporate & Commercial Law from the University of London. She has experiential knowledge of the corporate legal and financial industries in Nigeria, having worked extensively within the legal industry and then in various capacities within local and international banks. She has served as compliance risk manager, corporate secretary and legal adviser for several SMEs and international subsidiaries across diverse industries as well as consultant in strategy, operations and corporate governance in the last 16 years.
More recently, she established a consulting firm, which focused on strategy and operations for businesses in different industries including manufacturing, oil & gas, real estate, property development and investment/finance.
In addition to her position as COO with Misa, Omosalewa also leads the efforts of the Africa Corporate Governance Program of the International Finance Corporation in improving corporate governance knowledge and practices in Nigeria.
